| Medabots (TV) | I've seen the first season. It has a strong cast and a reasonably solid plot. I'm inclinded to be kind to the English dub as it could have been much worse (I'm thinking Digimon Tamers here). Voice acting is solid, problem being, as usual, the translation. They said things like "holy medaroli" and "metabee-bopping". Worst of all two characters are renamed "Ms. Caviar" and "Mr. Tunahead". Thankfully these characters don't appear much so it doesn't become too severe an issue. Metabee can also be annoying at times, though he may be that way in the sub too. (The subbed version isn't available so I'm unsure.) Despite these dubbing issues I enjoyed it. |
