Bleach (TV) | Good |
The Good: Ichigo and Rukia are strong characters, strong OP and ED music, intriguing storyline as far as providing an alternate view of the afterlife and how it is regulated.
The Bad: Too many main characters at once lead to a lack of focus in storytelling, story slows drastically after a promising first 20 episodes. The Ugly: Re-used running sequences with plain single-color backgrounds always serve to detract from a series.

Eureka Seven (TV) | Good |
The Good: Excellent character design, superb mechanical design.
The Bad: Cast is a little too large for its own good in terms of spending quality time with all of the characters introduced, story moves very slowly from episode to episode. The Ugly: Little annoying kids in anime series are almost always ugly to deal with.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (TV) | Masterpiece |
The Good: Top-notch animation and musical production, engaging and enjoyable character cast, a realistic and balanced view of a possible future world.
The Bad: Waiting for new episodes to come out on DVD. The Ugly: The voices of the Tachikomas, though I'm sure opinions are split for those who love and hate them.

Paranoia Agent (TV) | Good |
The Good: Strong mystery tale, clean animation and strong background scenery.
The Bad: Missing the first couple episodes has hindered my understanding of what is happening. The Ugly: Old people in this series... very scary-looking.

Speed Grapher (TV) | Not really good |
The Good: Offbeat storyline (in a good way), intriguing cast of characters.
The Bad: Production values as far as the animation is concerned, the inability of a character to look the same more than once in a single episode, promotional art looking way too nice compared to the final appearance of the series. The Ugly: Nearly every scene in the show, sadly.
