Anime-ZAP! Announces 2011 Attendance
Peoria, Illinois - January 18, 2011 - Anime-ZAP! in Peoria, IL, is excited to share that nearly 400 people attended the convention this past weekend at the Holiday Inn City Centre in Peoria. This is more than double the previous number of 160 attendees that came to the instant anime convention when first held in 2010. These numbers include staff, dealers, artists, press, and regular attendees.

Anime-ZAP! was first held with less than 72 hours of planning when the organizers of Pokettokon had to cancel their convention. Anime-ZAP! 2011 moved to a much larger location, with many more events, dealers, and artists participating in the convention.
Convention organizers are encouraging attendees to check out Anime-SPARK! in February. Anime-SPARK!, run by the same group, features guests of honor Quinton Flynn (Reno, Axel, Kon) and Chris Rager (Hercule, Arlong).
