Red Ant Enterprises Announces Its Expansion into Home Entertainment DVD Distribution, Partnering with Rialto Distribution
Red Ant Enterprises, a leading interactive software distributor, has signed an exclusive agreement with Australasian Film Distributor, Rialto Distribution, to diversify its portfolio to include home entertainment DVD distribution.
This agreement grants Red Ant Enterprises, DVD rights throughout Australia, distributing, marketing and promoting over thirty five titles, most of which are scheduled for release in 2008.

Initial releases are scheduled to include ‘Goodbye Bafana’, a film based on the memoirs of Nelson Mandela's Prison Guard, by two-time Oscar winner filmmaker Billy August, staring Joseph Fiennes and Dennis Haysbert; ‘Love in the Time of Cholera’, one of the greatest love stories ever told, based on the timeless masterpiece by Nobel Prize-winning author Gabriel García Márquez; and ‘A Bunch of Amateurs’ staring Burt Reynolds in a comedy where ‘Calendar Girls’ meets the ‘The Full Monty’. In addition to these films Red Ant will premiere on DVD, amongst others, Japan's most expensive film ever made 'The Sinking of Japan, ‘Michael Moore Hates America’ and Flavor Flav and James Russo in ‘Confessions of a Pit Fighter’. Also included in the line-up is the much anticipated full length anime feature, 'Evangelion 1.0: You Are (not) Alone', which is the first film in the trilogy based on the classic TV series, and ‘[REC]’, the Spanish Horror hit.
