ADV FILMS ANNOUNCES JANUARY 4 RELEASE DATES
HOUSTON, December 7, 2004— ADV Films, the #1 producer-distributor of anime in the U.S, is pleased to announce street dates of January 4, 2005 for three additions to their ever-expansive collection of home video releases.
DNAngel: DOUBLE HELIX, VOLUME 2
Teen angst grows ever darker as the second volume of DNAngel: Double Helix hits the shelves January 4, 2005. Based on the manga by popular artist Yukiru Sugisaki and produced by Dentsu (Angelic Layer), Kadokawa Shoten (Full Metal Panic!), TV Tokyo (Cowboy Bebop) and Xebec (Sorcerer Hunters), this star-crossed adventure series puts a whole new twist on the classic themes of unrequited love and secret identity. DNAngel follows Daisuke's story of self-discovery, the pursuit of true love and the experience of sharing his identity with the legendary art thief Phantom Dark.
Love is never easy, but that goes double for Daisuke Niwa. The only way Daisuke can rid himself of the phantom art thief residing in his DNA is to have his love returned. The problem is Daisuke has fallen for his classmate Risa, who is obsessed with his alter ego, Dark. It's Risa's twin sister Riku who seems to have eyes for Daisuke himself! It's not a simple task keeping track of the criss-crossing paths of these people's affections. One thing is for sure – watching the situations these four get themselves into will always be twice the fun!
