The Sixth Lie Band Will Appear at Hyper Japan in July

The Hyper Japan Festival, taking place from Friday July 24 to Sunday July 26 at Olympia in London, has confirmed the band THE SIXTH LIE will appear on both the Friday and Saturday.

The band's credits include the end song ("Hibana") for the first season of Golden Kamuy, and the opening songs for A Certain Scientific Accelerator and The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt.

Several other guests have already been confirmed at Hyper Japan. The rock band Queen Bee will appear on the Friday.

The band formed in 2009, and has since performed theme songs for Dororo (the 2019 TV series), Oshi no Ko (the ending theme, "Mephisto," for Season 1), Raven of the Inner Palace, Tokyo Ghoul:re, Undead Unluck, and Chainsaw Man. The group has also performed theme songs for the live-action Sadako film and the live-action Tokyo Ghoul S film

The Japanese singer Eir Aoi will perform a live show on the Saturday.

Aoi launched her musical career in 2011. She released her first single, "Memoria," in October 2011, with the single's title song serving as the ending theme song to the Fate/Zero television anime series. She has performed theme songs for such anime series as Kill la Kill, Sword Art Online, and the second season of Aldnoah.Zero. Since her return from hiatus, she has returned to performing theme songs for numerous entries in the Sword Art Online franchise, and has also performed theme songs for such anime as Granbelm, Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, Back Arrow, Blue Reflection Ray, and A Couple of Cuckoos.

The Japanese voice actor Chiaki Kobayashi will appear on the Sunday.
