Animate Store in Taichung Relocates Nearer to Taichung Station on July 17

Animate announced on Monday that its store in Taichung, Taiwan will relocate on July 17 from its present location at Section 3, Sanmin Road to a new location nearer to Taichung Station at Section 4, Fuxing Road, just three minutes away from the current location.
The new location will be approximately 50% bigger than the current location.
Aside from the Taichung store, Animate also operates two other permanent stores in Taiwan: one in Taipei, and another in Kaohsiung. Animate also opened a pop-up store in Ximen in November 2025.
Animate's most recently-opened store outside of Japan is its Hong Kong store, which opened in December 2025.
Animate plans to open a store in Manila sometime this year.
Animate has opened a number of pop-up stores in locations outside of Japan, as well as four permanent stores in China (five including the most recent Hong Kong store), three in Taiwan, two in Thailand, one in South Korea, and one in California, USA. A pop-up store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia reopened as a permanent store in October 2025.
