Muse Asia's Indian Instagram account announced on Friday that it will screen the first three episodes of the television anime of Yukinobu Tatsu's Dandadan "paranormal mystery battle & romantic comedy" manga at PVR Maison, Jio World Drive, Mumbai, India on September 15 at 4:00 p.m. IST. The company is holding a giveaway for the tickets from August 30 to September 5.

Muse Asia will screen the first episode of the anime at Anime Times and WaConne AniFest's Coscon event in Nagpur on September 8. The screening will take place at 11:00 a.m. IST.

Muse Asia describes Dandadan's story:

The story begins with Ayase Momo and Takakura Ken as the protagonists. The two have deep belief in each other. The former is obsessed with ghosts, and the latter believes in the existence of aliens. However, both believe that the things the other believes in do not exist. As a bet, the two of them went to designated locations to find UFOs and ghosts, hoping that the other would lose. Unexpectedly, they encountered an overwhelming mystery beyond comprehension. As a result, the two gained hidden power and curse power respectively, and faced the upcoming mysterious battle together. At the same time, a youthful love story is about to unfold.

The series will premiere in Japan on October 3 on TBS and MBS's Super Animeism TURBO programming block. Netflix will stream the anime worldwide starting on October 3 at 25:00 JST (effectively, October 4 at 1:00 a.m. JST)

The anime stars:

Fūga Yamashiro (Tatami Time Machine Blues assistant director) is directing the anime at Science SARU, and Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan The Final Season, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) is supervising and writing the series scripts. Composer kensuke ushio (Chainsaw Man, DEVILMAN crybaby, Liz and the Blue Bird) is scoring the music. Naoyuki Onda (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) is designing the characters, and Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100) is designing the aliens and supernatural entities.

Hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts performs the opening theme song "Otokone," and ZUTOMAYO performs the ending theme song "TAIDADA."
