Also a standard Blu-ray edition of Release the Spyce

On Monday January 16, Crunchyroll will release Blu-ray and DVD editions of the second volume of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, carrying episodes 14 to 26 of the series. Anime-on-line describes the series:

"Kazuya Souma is crowned king of a fantasy world and plans to improve the realm not with magic but with administrative reform...Wait, what?!"

Takashi Watanabe (The Slayers, Ikki Tousen, Freezing) directed the anime at J.C. Staff. Go Zappa (Koihime Musō, Moriarty the Patriot) and Hiroshi Ohnogi (Aquarion, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) wrote the scripts. Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, Urara Meirochō, The Demon Girl Next Door) designed the characters. Akiyuki Tateyama (Laid-Back Camp, ISLAND, Senryū Girl) composed the music.

MVM will release a standard Blu-ray edition of Release the Spyce. An original anime series, it was broadcast in 2018. The story begins with a lone high school girl named Momo, attending a high school in the city of Sorasaki. Unbeknownst to everyone, Momo is an agent who works for the private intelligence agency Tsukikage, that protects the city and its people. Under the tutelage of her senior Yuki, and her other friends, they keep the peace in the city.

The project is a collaboration between Yuruyuri manga creator Namori as original character designer and Yuki Yuna Is a Hero creator Takahiro for the original concept and series composition. The anime marks Akira Sato's directorial debut at Lay-duce. Satoshi Ishino is adapting Namori's characters for animation. SORASAKI.F is credited for the original work.
