Muse Asia Streams Rage of Bahamut: Genesis Anime

Channel delays The Dawn of the Witch episode, resumes streaming on May 27

Muse Asia reposted 12 episodes of Rage of Bahamut: Genesis, the anime adaptation of Cygames' Rage of Bahamut social card game, on its YouTube channel at on Friday. The company also announced that its stream of the television anime of Kakeru Kobashiri's The Dawn of the Witch (Mahōtsukai Reimeiki) light novel series is delayed and will resume again on May 27.

Alongside India, Muse Asia is streaming the Rage of Bahamut: Genesis anime in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, Brunei, Cambodia, and Bhutan.

The channel previously streamed the anime in April 2021.

The company describes the first episode of the anime:

This is the magical world of Mistarcia, where humans, Gods, demons, and many different race exist together.
In the past, the silver winged Bahamut drove the world to brink of destruction, But, humans, Gods, and demons overcame their differences, and cooperated together. After paying a huge sacrifice, they managed to seal its power.
And then, the key for the seal was separated into two, the God key, and the demon key, both exist within their respective race.
To make sure that the key won't be able to unite again.
After that, 2000 or more years passed, and the world is in an age of peace.
And somehow, humans thought that the Bahamut is a unique existance, so they feared and worship it.
One day, the God key which is impossible to steal, was stolen by a lone girl.
The world balance gently starts to crumble.
Once the Bahamut release it's roar of survival, the world will absolutely fall into the depths of despair. World, perish.
Someone earnestly wish for it.

The series premiered in October 2014.

Keiichi Satou (Tiger & Bunny, live-action Black Butler) directed this adaptation of the "sweeping visual fantasy" at the anime studio MAPPA. Naoyuki Onda (Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King, The Animatrix's Detective Story) served as character designer and chief animation director, and Yoshihiro Ike (Tiger & Bunny, Karas) scored the music.

Keiichi Hasegawa (scripts on Astro Boy, The Big O, Zoids) was in charge of the series scripts, and Takashi Hashimoto was in charge of effects animation. Goki Nakamura was the art director, and Osamu Mikasa was the color key artist. Shinya Sugu directed the CGI.
