Ani-One Streams Food Wars! The Third Plate Anime on April 22

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Saturday that it will stream Food Wars! The Third Plate (Shokugeki no Sōma: San no Sara), the third season of the Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma anime series, on April 22.
Alongside Hong Kong and India, the anime will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

The third season premiered in October 2017, and the second half of the third season premiered in April 2018.
Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki launched the Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2012, and ended the series after a three-chapter epilogue in August 2019. Chef Yuki Morisaki is credited for cooperation for the manga. Viz Media released chapters of the manga weekly in English on its app and website, and also releases the manga's compiled book volumes in English. Shueisha also publishes the manga digitally in English on its MANGA Plus service.
The manga has inspired a total of five television anime series. The first anime season aired for 24 episodes from April to September 2015. The second season of the anime series Shokugeki no Sōma: Ni no Sara had 13 episodes and aired in July-September 2016. Ani-One streamed the second season in India in November 2020. The fourth season Shokugeki no Sōma: Shin no Sara premiered in October 2019. Netflix India started streaming the fourth season in July 2020. Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fifth Plate (Shokugeki no Sōma: Gō no Sara) premiered in April 2020 and Netflix began streaming it in India in December 2020.
