Netflix Brings 30 Live-Action NTV Titles to Southeast Asia

Nippon TV announced on November 1 that it has finalized a deal with Netflix to bring 30 Japanese live-action titles to 24 Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The titles include I'm Mita, Your Housekeeper (Kaseifu no Mita), the live-action television series for Akiko Higashimura's Tokyo Tarareba Girls (Tokyo Tarareba Musume) manga, and the live-action Death Note television series.
The other countries in which Netflix will stream the titles are Afghanistan, India, the Maldives, Mongolia, Pakistan, and South Korea.
Netflix began streaming the live-action Death Note television series on October 15.
The 2017 live-action Tokyo Tarareba Girls series got a television special in summer 2020.
The deal will also bring Japanese drama titles such as Mr.Hiiragi's Homeroom, Your Turn to Kill, and Life's Punchline to Netflix in the above countries.
