Actor cites COVID-19 pandemic, other reasons for delay
Gaurav Marwaha, a voice actor in the Hindi dub of the Shinchan (Crayon Shin-chan) anime, streamed a video on February 3 explaining the post-production delays that have kept new seasons of the franchise as well as a new film from airing on Indian television.
Aside from the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, Marwaha cited the main reason for the production delay as a shift of the production operation to Mumbai. He also cited various other reasons such as cast changes throughout the recording process. He also mentioned that recordings of the Hindi dub of Doraemon are on schedule and the new dubbed episodes are already airing on television.
Marwaha portrays the role of Hiroshi Nohara, Principal Sir, and Action Kamen in the anime.
