Atlus USA began streaming a new promotional video for Vanillaware's Dragon's Crown Pro PlayStation 4 game on Monday. The video compares gameplay in 1080p HD to 4K and previews the game's newly re-recorded orchestral soundtrack.
The game shipped in Japan on February 8 and will launch in the Americas and Europe on May 15. The game will launch physically and digitally on the PS4 and PS4 Pro, and it will cost US$49.99 in the United States.
People who pre-order can secure a limited copy of Dragon's Crown Pro: Battle-Hardened Edition for PlayStation 4. The limited-edition set includes the game, seven skill cards, and a decorated metal case.
The game is a PS4 version of Vanillaware's Dragon's Crown game. The new game supports 4K resolution and has a fully re-recorded orchestral soundtrack. The game is cross-play compatible with the original Dragon's Crown PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games.
Vanillaware and Atlus released the original "2D action RPG" in Japan in July 2013 and in North America in August 2013.
Udon Entertainment licensed yuztan's manga adaptation of the game and shipped the first volume in November.
