Original anime by Toei Animation premiered in Japan in April 2017

Animax Asia began streaming an English-subtitled commercial for Toei Animation's KADO - The Right Answer original anime on Wednesday. Animax Asia will premiere the anime on May 8, and the channel will air double episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. GMT +8, with an encore broadcast every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. GMT +8.

Toei Animation describes the original anime's story:

Kojiro Shindo. Cabinet Office Director-General for Policy Planning, is at Haneda Airport for a business trip. While the plane is on the runway, a giant structure suddenly appears out of thin air. The plane carrying Shindo and 251 passengers is taken undamaged inside the giant structure. After everyone disembarks, a man who looks like an ordinary human being shows up. He assures those from the plane that they're not in any danger. Shindo asks him to identify himself and explain the situation. Then the outside of the structure is displayed on a large screen, and at the same time, every passenger's cell phone starts ringing all at once. On each cell phone screen is a message from this man, to every one of Japan's citizens: "I, Yaha-kui zaShunina, hereby notify you that I am going to intervene in Japan's internal affairs." What is this young man's goal? And will Shindo manage to become an intermediary between Japan and the Anisotorons...?

The anime series premiered in Japan in April 2017.

Kazuya Murata (Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos) served as general director, and novelist Mado Nozaki (know, Fantasista Doll: Eve) wrote the scripts. Illustrator Aco Arisaka (manga adaptations of Sound Horizon's "Vanishing Starlight" song, May Your Soul Rest in Magdala light novel series) designed the characters. Masaki Watanabe was the series director. Taro Iwashiro (Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) composed the music. M.A.O performed the opening song "Tabiji" (Travel Poem), and HARUCA performed the ending theme song "Eien no Kotae" (Eternity's Answer).
