Hugtto! Precure, Futari wa Precure Crossover Film Announced

The official Precure YouTube channel announced with a video on Friday that a movie titled Eiga Hugtto! Precure ♡ Futari wa Precure will open on October 27 in Japan. As the name suggests, the film will feature characters from the Precure franchise's most recent installment Hugtto! Precure and the franchise's first installment Futari wa Precure.
The listed cast includes Rie Hikisaka (Hana Nono/Cure Yell), Rina Hon'izumi (Saaya Yakushiji/Cure Ange), and Yui Ogura (Homare Kagayaki/Cure Étoile) from Hugtto! Precure as well as Yōko Honna (Nagisa Misumi/Cure Black) and Yukana (Honoka Yukishiro/Cure White) from Futari wa Precure.
Hugtto! Precure premiered on February 4. The original Futari wa Precure series ran from 2004 to 2005.
Futari wa Precure is streaming with English subtitles on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Tubi TV. Saban Brands localized two other Precure series — Smile Precure! and Dokidoki! Precure — under the titles Glitter Force and Glitter Force Doki Doki and released them on Netflix.
