posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official Twitter account for the Uta Macross Sumaho De Culture rhythm smartphone game posted a new promotional video on Wednesday. The video previews the game's mechanics, including the rhythm game parts and the ability to gain new character outfits, character voices, and songs. The song featured in the video is "Rune ga Pikatto Hikattara," the first ending theme song of the Macross Delta anime.
The iOS and Android game will release this summer, delayed from its planned spring debut.
The game will feature the "tactical music unit" Walkūre from Macross Delta and other Macross series characters such as Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee. The title will be the "first super-dimensional rhythm game" in the Macross franchise and will feature various popular songs from the world of Macross.
