Egglia: Legend of the Redcap Smartphone RPG Gets English Release This Summer

Game developer Brownies announced on Friday that its smartphone game Egglia: Legend of the Redcap will have an English release for iPhone and Android this summer. The company is also working on an "Episode 2" DLC for the game, which will introduce new eggs and areas to explore.
Egglia is an RPG that follows the story of an elf named Chabo, who is from the Redcap tribe. In the game, players collect eggs by completing quests. Collecting eggs unlocks new areas to explore, and allows players to expand their towns. As more areas are unlocked, there are more places to discover and more ways to improve towns.
Brownies (Mother 3, Fantasy Life) and DMM.com Powerchord Studios co-developed the game, which originally launched in Japan on April 13 for iPhone and Android. Powerchord Studios began streaming a trailer that showcases the game's characters, setting, and gameplay last November.
