Live-Action Ghost in the Shell Film's Earns US$900,000 in 4th Weekend

The Box Office Mojo film news website has estimated that Paramount Pictures' live-action Ghost in the Shell film earned US$900,000 at the United States box office in its fourth weekend of Friday-Sunday. The film has an estimated total gross of US$39,131,504 in the United States, and ranked #19 for the weekend. The fourth weekend gross is about a 63.5% drop in earnings from the film's third weekend.
The film earned US$18,676,033 in its debut weekend in the United States. The global total for the film is estimated at US$162,231,504 as of Sunday.
Entertainment news website Deadline reported earlier this month that the film is tracking with at least a US$60 million loss.
Lionsgate's new Power Rangers film earned an estimated US$1,380,000 in its fifth weekend, ranking #16. The film has now earned an estimated US$83,067,052 domestically, with a worldwide total of US$130,612,955.
