Animax Asia to Start Airing K: Return of Kings TV Anime on Saturday

International television channel Animax Asia announced on Friday that it will begin airing the K: Return of Kings TV anime series on the channel on October 3 at 10:00 p.m. in Indonesia and Thailand, and at 11:00 p.m. in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and India. The show will have an encore airing the next day at 7:00 p.m. in Indonesia and Thailand, and at 8:00 p.m. Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and India.
Animax Asia describes the series:
Set in modern Japan, there are seven "Kings" who each possess special powers and lead their own "clan." Amongst the various clans, Silver Clan members Neko and Kuroh believe that their Silver King, Yashiro, is still alive and are searching for him. However, they are not the only ones who are seeking the whereabouts of the Silver King...

The anime will also star Kazuyuki Okitsu as Nagare Hisui.
Shingo Suzuki will serve as the director and character designer for the new season at studio GoHands. Suzuki previously directed the first season and the K: Missing Kings sequel film. Yui Horie will perform "Asymmetry" as the anime's opening theme, and CustomiZ will perform "Kai" (Solution) as the ending theme.

The anime will premiere in Japan on October 3. The first television anime premiered in 2012, and Animax Asia aired the anime as it aired in Japan.
The show will get a manga adaptation in the November issue of Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine on October 17. Haruto Shiota will illustrate the series, and GoRA member Hideyuki Furuhashi will be in charge of story composition.
