Koei Tecmo announced on Thursday that it will release Yoru no Nai Kuni and Samurai Warriors 4: Empires in North America and Europe in early 2016.
Yoru no Nai Kuni is slated for release on PlayStation 4—Koei Tecmo Europe did not mention a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita release. The title is still tentative for the western release.
Yoru no Nai Kuni will ship for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on October 1, after two delays.
Illustrator Yoshiku is designing the characters for the "bishōjo selvan RPG." Tadanobu Inoue is serving as chief producer and Kikuchi (Fatal Frame series) is serving as development producer. In the game, players will summon "selvans" or subordinate demons to use in battle. The game's story revolves around the fate of two young women: a half-fairy named Arnas (voiced by M.A.O), and her best friend, a saint named Rulitis (voiced by Hiromi Igarashi).
Samurai Warriors 4: Empires launched for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on Thursday. It will be available on all three platforms in the west.
