Naruto #71 Ranks 2nd on U.S. Monthly BookScan August List

The 71st volume of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga debuted at #2 on the Nielsen BookScan's Top 20 Graphic Novel chart for August. The 70th volume ranked #15, falling from its #4 spot on the July chart.
The second volume of Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul manga debuted at #5. The first volume ranked #4, falling from its #2 spot in July. The first volume has ranked in the top five since its debut in June.
The seventh volume of OKAYADO's Monster Musume manga debuted at rank #6, the same rank that the sixth volume achieved in March. No other volumes of the manga have ranked higher than #9.
The 16th volume of the Attack on Titan manga by Hajime Isayama debuted at rank #19. The first volume of the manga ranked #20, falling from its July rank of #16.
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart.com, and some other venues.
