Nintendo Shuts Down Club Nintendo Customer Loyalty Program

posted on by Daryl Lee Hale
Company to announce new program at later date

Nintendo announced on Tuesday it will discontinue its Club Nintendo customer loyalty program starting this April.

The company said it plans to announce details regarding a new program at a later date. Until then, customers can earn coins, register products purchased by January 20, and sign up for new memberships with Club Nintendo through March 31.

Members can access their accounts until June 30. Nintendo will delete all unused coins after this date.

Nintendo launched Club Nintendo six years ago. The program consists of a rewards system where members can earn coins for registering products and answering surveys. The coins are redeemable for rewards including games and exclusive items.
