Kamen Rider SummonRide! Game's 3rd Promo Introduces System

Figures used in gameplay for PS3, Wii U game

Bandai Namco Games began streaming a third promotional video for the upcoming Kamen Rider SummonRide! game for the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii U systems on Monday. The trailer features the theme song "Break the World" by Masayuki Tanaka.

The video begins with the following dialogue:

Narrator: Can you hear me? Can someone hear me? Oh, so you can hear my voice? Then let me give you... The power of Kamen Rider! If you can hear me, you may be able to save this Crystal World!

Much like the Skylanders, Disney Infinity and Nintendo's Amiibo figures, the game will feature a "portal" that allows players to connect figures used in the game. So far, the website has announced 14 Kamen Riders as figures, as well as 24 support "chips," which can either power up figure characters or summon secondary characters. Players can also use up to four figures or chips at once for co-op gameplay.

The game's starter pack, which comes with the game, portal, three figures and four support chips, will ship on December 4 for 8,550 yen (about US$75). Booster sets will ship for 1,600 yen (US$14) and include either five chips or two figures and two chips.

Kamen Rider's newest series, Kamen Rider Drive, began airing in October. Both Kamen Rider Drive and Kamen Rider Gaim will crossover in the movie Kamen Rider Gaim x Kamen Rider Drive Movie War, which will premiere in Japan on December 13.
