1st goal will add English dub

Video game producer Keiji Inafune's Comcept company opened a second crowdfunding campaign for his upcoming Mighty No. 9 on Saturday.

The campaign is operated through PayPal to add bonus content to the already funded Mighty No. 9 video game. The first goal is US$100,000 to add a full English dub.

Inafune (Megaman) and his company raised over US$3.5 million in its crowdfunding campaign for the game in October. The side-scrolling adventure will be released in Spring 2015 for PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Alongside Inafune, Naoya Tomita (Mega Man level design, Mega Man 2 stages, Mega Man 5 & 8 character designs) will be designing the game, and Takenori Kimoto a.k.a. "Kimo Kimo" (Darkstalkers 3, Vampire Hunter 2 character design) is designing the characters. Original Mega Man soundtrack composer Manami Matsumae will be providing the music.

In addition to the game, Inafune is in talks with Contradiction Films writer and producer Tim Carter for a possible Mighty No. 9 live-action adaptation. The game will get an CG-animated series by Digital Frontier.
