Tecmo Koei's Zelda Musou Slated for August 14 in Japan

Kadokawa's Weekly Famitsu magazine is reporting on Thursday that Tecmo KOEI's Zelda Musou Wii U game will ship on August 14. The Warriors/Musou-style game for the Legend of Zelda franchise was announced by Nintendo in December. Tecmo KOEI's Omega Force team is jointly developing the game with Team Ninja.
Link is the hero of the game and other franchise characters, like the Hyrule Kingdom bodyguard Impa, will make an appearance. The game's antagonist and Zelda's kidnapper is Black Witch Shia, while other listed characters include "Shakunetsu Berserker Varga" (Burning Berserker Varga) and "Ankoku Magician Weezel" (Dark Magician Weezel).
