Manga by Gang King author gets new 1-shot in Young King this month
This year's ninth issue of Shonengahosha's Young King magazine is announcing on Monday that Daiju Yanauchi's (Gang King) Gaki Rock manga will get a live-action film adaptation. To commemorate the announcement, Shonengahosha will publish a special one-shot chapter for the manga in the magazine's 10th issue on April 28.
The magazine lists the story:
A certain "incident" that occured during peaceful everyday life!! A man with good taste lights the sparky fireworks of fighting in Edo's Asakusa!
Daitosha originally published the one-volume series in 2003, and then again in 2005. Shonengahosha then reprinted the manga in 2010.
Yanauchi currently provides character designs for Naofumi Yokogawa and Sōdesu Tawaraya's Shibuya Daggers manga, which runs in the same magazine.
