Crunchyroll to Stream New Fairy Tail Anime

Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the new Fairy Tail television anime series. The streaming will begin for premium subscribers on Friday, April 5 at 10:30 p.m. ET., followed by free streams one week later. (Funimation will begin its streaming at 10:00 p.m. ET. on Friday.) Crunchyroll's streams will be available worldwide except in Asia, France and DOM/TOM, Belgium, Switzerland, and Monaco.

Takeuchi is replacing Aoi Yamamoto as character designer, while Bridge is replacing Satelight as one of the studios animating the series. BoA is performing the opening theme song "Masayume Chasing" (Prophetic Dream Chasing), while BREATHE is performing the ending theme song "Kimi to Kare to Boku to Kanojo to" (You, He, Me, and She).
