Japanese video game publisher Atlus began streaming character introduction videos for Persona 3's Ken Amada and Persona 4's Naoto Shirogane for its upcoming Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth Nintendo 3DS game on Thursday:
-
Ken: I'm Ken Amada. I'm a 5th grader in the lower school division of Gekkōkan Academy.
Ken: There's something that I need to do. From time to time, I start to not know if that thing I need to do is really the meaning to my life.
Ken: You look exactly like the bad guys in the sentai hero show I'm watching now, and...
Kanji: Roar.
Ken: Ah!
Ken: You can't ignore this kind of power harassment, right, Kirijo-senpai!?
Ken: Why do you jab at everything people say?
Ken: If I were born again... There's someone I'd want to talk to. I didn't think up until know I would, but...
Ken: I'm everyone's comrade... Let's go. When we get home, there's a party waiting for us!
Ken: All right! Here I go! I'm going to do it! So here I go! Here we go, Nemesis!
Ken: I'm here, and so is everyone else. That's why I'll fight!
-
Naoto: Please look! Outside the window! In the middle of the campus... There's a clock tower...? I wonder what this means...
Naoto: This isn't the inside of the TV, and this isn't the “Tartarus” you all speak of. Let's search for an exit from here.
Naoto: You really ARE a real robot! What amazing technology! How were you made!?
Naoto: Supernatural encounters are completely unscientific and illogical!
Naoto: When I'm with you all, I can always begin to see a new side of myself... And I don't hate that new me.
Naoto: It's not what's “meaningless” or what's “meaningful”... I want a reason for me to be here.
Naoto: From here on out, I want to change, little by little.
Naoto: Now is our chance! Shooting is something done with calculation! Sukuna-Hikona!
Naoto: Because the people precious to me are doing their best, I believe that I can do my best as well. I think that no one truly can live alone.
The game will ship in Japan on June 5. People who pre-order the game will receive the Persona Q: Sound of the Labyrinth original soundtrack. The CD will feature the new music from the game, in special re-arrangements by the Atlus sound team that can only be heard on this CD.
There will also be a Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth Famitsu DX Pack with the game itself, a B2-size tapestry illustrated by the Persona Q anime staff, an A3-size clear poster illustrated by Atlus, a set of five different visual clear file folders, an original mug cup, and a Graphig paper figure of Rei.
