Drakengard 3 English Announcement Trailer Streamed

Square-Enix began streaming the English announcement trailer for its Drakengard 3 PlayStation 3 action role-playing game on Wednesday.

Square-Enix describes the story:
A prequel to the original Drakengard, Drakengard 3 transports players to a medieval world where six sisters wield special magical abilities as the "Intoners." These sisters have brought peace to the earth with their power to manipulate magic through song. Harmony is disrupted, however, when the eldest sister, Zero, attempts to murder her younger sisters with the help of her dragon companion, Mikhail. As the story progresses, players find themselves in a battle to unravel the mystery of Zero and learn her true intentions.
Customers who preorder the game before March 4 will receive three exclusive bonuses, including the original Japanese voice track. The game will be released in standard and Collector's editions. The Collector's Edition will retail for US$79.99 and includes a prequel novella, a soundtrack sampler by composer Keiichi Okabe, a bonus DLC stage featuring One, the DLC Caim costume, and and the Giant Baby Hat DLC for Zero's dragon. Only 5,000 copies of the Collector's Edition will be produced. The standard edition will retail for US$49.99.
The game goes on sale for PlayStation 3 in North America on May 20.
