Japanese game news website Famitsu began streaming a new gameplay trailer on Tuesday for the Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z action game. The video previews different costumes for the main character Yaiba, including a schoolgirl outfit, a camouflage costume, the previously-announced Nuigulumar costume, a Mighty No. 9 collaboration costume, and a set of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate collaboration costumes with Ryu Hayabusa and Momiji.
The trailer also reveals that the game has been delayed from March 6 to March 27. The first edition of the game will include the bonus Nuigulumar costume and the Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate costume set, and a "special zombie pack" will come with the Mighty No. 9 costume and the camouflage costume.
Comcept and Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive series) are collaborating with Spark Unlimited on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. The game will star a new ninja named Yaiba, who is chasing after Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden video game. Hayabusa had killed Yaiba, but then Yaiba was brought back to life with cyber-technology as a cyborg ninja. He uses both a ninja sword and mecha weapons in his cyborg arm.
The game will launch in North America on March 18. Italy, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Australia will receive the game on March 21, and France will receive the game one day earlier.
