Toonami to Air Blue Exorcist TV Anime in March

Aniplex of America announced on Friday that the Blue Exorcist television anime series will begin airing on Adult Swim's Toonami block in March 2014.
The supernatural action anime premiered in Japan in 2011. Aniplex of America released the series on subtitled DVD in North America. Viz Media's North American streaming service Neon Alley ran the series in its dubbed format. Crunchyroll and Hulu also streamed the series.
Aniplex of America will release the Blue Exorcist film on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in North America on December 17. The film opened in Japan in December 2012, and Aniplex screened it in subtitled format at Anime Expo in California on July 4-7. Aniplex of America also collaborated with Eleven Arts to screen the film with an English dub in six cities the United States in August.
Toonami announced last week that it will air the following anime films in December: Akira, Summer Wars, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa, Trigun: Badlands Rumble. Episodes of the first Naruto television anime will stop running on Toonami on November 30. However, the block will start running the Naruto Shippūden sequel on the same day in January that it will premiere another television anime, Space Dandy.
