Hatsune Miku & Maaya Sakamoto Enter Monster Hunter Frontier G
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
CAPCOM began streaming a second promotional video for the collaboration between its Monster Hunter Frontier G online video game for the PC and Xbox 360 and virtual idol Hatsune Miku.
Her costume and guitar-shaped weapon will be available as part of the collaboration, and players can also edit their character's skin tone and even change the character's face size with the “small face version” in order to change the size of the face so it is one rank smaller than the game's normal face size. A male version of the costume will also be available.
In addition, Maaya Sakamoto, the voice actress that sang the theme song for the game, will also be appearing in the MMORPG as the voice of Utahime (lit. Diva), who will sing the theme song within the game as well. Utahime will be available for players to interact with starting on October 16.
Monster Hunter Frontier was released in Japan for the Microsoft Windows operating system in 2007. A port of the game was released for the Xbox 360 in 2010. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate was released for the Nintendo 3DS & Wii U in North America last month.
