Store chain LAWSON reported on Monday that Compile Heart is delaying its PlayStation 3 game Fairy Fencer F. The game's official website confirmed that the game was delayed from September 19 to October 10.
The game is a collaboration between Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy, Vampire Hunter D), musical composer Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy, Blue Dragon, Guin Saga, Ah! My Goddess: The Movie) and his Earthbound Papas band, and the team behind Compile Heart's Neptunia games. The details regarding the game were announced in May.
The story is set in a world where devils and goddesses fought a devastating war in the distant past. While much time has since passed, there are warriors known as "Fencers" who wield the "Fury" weapons left by the goddesses and devils in the modern age. A young man named Fang (Ryota Ohsaka) has just become a Fencer when he comes to the aid of a girl named Tiara. Tiara also happens to be Fencer, and their encounter pulls both of them into the return of the war between the devils and goddesses. Residing in Fang's Fury is a Fairy named Alin (Rumi Ookubo) who lost her memories.
