posted on by Karen Ressler
The Okinawa-based four-member band 7!! (pronounced "seven oops") will perform a concert in New York City on May 27, and the Japanese news program FCI Morning Eye is hosting a giveaway for 200 fans to win tickets. The application is available on FCI's website, and the deadline to apply is May 22 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
The show will be free but only those who win tickets through FCI will be able to attend. The performance will be held at The Studio at Webster Hall.
7!!'s 2011 debut single "Fallin Love" was used as the theme song for the live-action film adaptation of Kazune Kawahara's High School Debut manga. The band has also performed the opening theme song "Lovers" and the ending theme song "Sayonara Memory" for Naruto Shippūden, and the opening theme song "Bye Bye" for Kimi to Boku (You and Me.). The band released its first album, Dokidoki, in March.
The band is also performing at FanimeCon on Saturday.
Thanks to Stanlee for the news tip.
