Sword Art Online Director, Producer to Attend Anime Boston

Director Tomohiko Ito and producer Shinichiro Kashiwada of Sword Art Online will attend Anime Boston from May 24-26. The two will be joined by English voice actors Cherami Leigh and Bryce Papenbrook, who have been cast in the two leading roles for the upcoming Sword Art Online dub.
Ito debuted as a director with Occult Academy, and has also been involved as an assistant director in Death Note, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and Summer Wars. Anime Boston will mark Ito's first convention appearance in the United States.
Kashiwada will also be attending Anime Boston for the first time. In addition to serving as a chief producer for Sword Art Online, Kashiwada was also an associate producer for other Aniplex titles such as Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Oreimo.
Cherami Leigh (Black Butler, Shakugan no Shana) and Bryce Papenbrook (Blue Exorcist, Durarara!!) will play the Sword Art Online leading roles of Asuna and Kirito respectively, and will join previously-announced guests Chris Ayres, Greg Ayres, Lauren Landa, David Matranga, ORIGA, Raj Ramayya, Stephanie Sheh, Tom Wayland and Kari Wahlgren for the convention.
Anime Boston 2013 will be held on Friday, May 24 through Sunday, May 26 at the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel.
