Eagle's Kaiji Kawaguchi to Launch New Manga in December

Zipang/The Silent Service creator to serialize work in Morning magazine again

Kodansha's Morning magazine announced that manga creator Kaiji Kawaguchi (Eagle, Zipang, The Silent Service) will launch a new series in 2013's first issue of Morning, which will arrive on December 6.

Kawaguchi drew the time-travelling war manga Zipang in Kodansha's Morning magazine until 2009, and he just ended his Boku wa Beatles manga in February. Kawaguchi has been serializing another manga, the historical series Hyōma no Hata ~Revolutionary Wars~ (Hyōma's Flag ~Revolutionary Wars~), in Shogakukan's Big Comic magazine since last year.

Viz published Kawaguchi's Eagle manga in North America. Central Park Media released The Silent Service anime special, and Geneon Entertainment (USA) released the Zipang television anime.
