Japanese game developer Atlus posted a "no cut" version of the second trailer for the Shin Megami Tensei IV video game for the Nintendo 3DS on its official YouTube channel on Friday. The trailer has much of the same footage from the previously-posted second trailer, but has more gameplay footage and dialogue, and it also reveals the game's main staff. The game will be the first numbered Shin Megami Tensei game to be released since 2003.
The video also introduces the main characters and cast, with Hiroshi Kamiya (Nisemonogatari's Araragi, Polar Bear's Café's Penguin) as Jonathan, Shintarou Oohata (Beck's Chiba, Innocent Venus' Kyoushirou) as Navarre, Miyuki Sawashiro (Persona 3's Elizabeth and Chidori, Galaxy Angel's Mint Blamanche) as Isabeau, and Katsuyuki Konishi (Tales of Symphonia's Lloyd, Alice in the Country of Hearts' Blood) as Walter. Other voices include Kazuya Nakai, Atsuko Tanaka, Yūko Kaida, Marina Inoue, Kazuhiro Yamaji, Junpei Morita, Hazumi Goda, Houchu Ohtsuka, and Jouji Nakata.
Kazuma Kaneko is in charge of the original scenario and series demon design, and Kazuyuki Yamai is directing the game. Masayuki Doi is handling the character design and Ryota Kozuka will serve as the sound composer.
Atlus first revealed the fourth game in the Shin Megami Tensei series in Famitsu magazine this past May. Although titled similarly to the Persona series as published in America, the Shin Megami Tensei series is not related.
