Keiji Nashima's comedy of mermaid caught by high school fishing club member
Kodansha's page for new manga releases reported on Friday that an anime adaptation of Keiji Nashima's Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san manga has been green-lit. However, the page no longer lists the anime adaptation.
The comedy story centers around Muromi-san, a mermaid who happens to speak with a Hakata accent. She is suddenly caught by Takurō Mukōjima, a boy in his high school's fishing club. Nashima launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2009, and Kodansha will ship the manga's seventh volume on October 17.
