2,000 Ai Ore! Movie-Goers to Get Mini-Comic Drawn by Shinjo
posted on by Egan Loo
2,000 Japanese movie-goers who see the live-action Ai Ore! Love Me! (Ai o Utau yori Ore ni Oborero!) film will receive a "special mini-comic," while supplies last. Mayu Shinjo, the original creator of the shōjo romance manga, drew the special-edition bonus herself.
Starting on the movie's opening day this Saturday, the mini-comic will be given away at Tokyo's Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku, Nagoya's Fushimi Million-za, Osaka's Theatre Umeda, and Fukuoka's T-Joy Hakata theaters. Starting on September 1, it will be given away at Saitama's Cineplex Niiza and Sapporo's Dinos Cinema Sapporo Theater.
A similar manga present promotion was held for One Piece Film Strong World in 2009, for the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos film last year, and for Thermae Romae in April.
