3 Fate/Extra CCC RPG Promos Streamed

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
2nd Fate/Extra game to ship in Japan on February 21, 2013

Marvelous AQL began streaming the Fate/Extra CCC game's first promotional video, a Saber message video, and an introduction video for the limited-edition version's Saber figure on Thursday. The videos confirm that the role-playing game will ship for the PlayStation Portable platform in Japan on February 21, 2013.

The game will feature a male or female player character and the Servants Saber, Archer, Caster, and Gilgamesh, as well as an unrevealed "mysterious girl" character.

This game inspired by Type-Moon's Fate/stay night visual novel will come in two editions: a standard edition for 6,279 yen (about US$81.20), and a limited edition Type-Moon Virgin White Box for 10,479 yen (US$135.50). The Virgin White Box version will bundle a Saber Bride figma figure, a "visual works" illustration collection, and Sakura Tange's limited Saber character CD with three songs. People who order early will also receive the "Virgin Bride" booklet, and first-pressing editions will include four super-deformed Servant character stickers designed by wadarco.

Fate/Extra CCC was slated to ship this spring, but a release delay until "Winter 2012" was revealed in April. Marvelous Entertainment already released the first Fate/Extra game for the PSP in 2010, and Aksys Games released the game in North America last November.
