MyM Magazine First Issue Now Available (Updated)
posted on by Andrew Osmond
The first issue of the monthly news-stand magazine MyM (pronounced My-em) is now available in U.K. stores. It covers anime, manga, games, movies, cosplay and comics. Issue 1 includes an interview with voice-actors Vic Mignogna and Aaron Dismuke (who played the Elric brothers in Fullmetal Alchemist), pieces on K-ON! and Bleach the Movie: Fade to Black, an extended cosplay section and an article on the upcoming game Lollipop Chainsaw. The cover story is a piece on the game Tales of Graces F.
The magazine website says, "The website at www.mymags.net provides a number of services, and this includes a store-finder which readers can use to find their nearest stockist by postcode. The magazine can also be ordered via your newsagent even if they didn't stock it initially." The facebook page adds, "Think some newsagents and chains didn't get round to putting (the magazine) on their shelves until late. If you still can't get hold of one please drop our publisher an e-mail at [email protected] to let him know."
Update - MyM posted the following on its facebook page:
[The magazine] isn't in all of the WHS branches, but is in most of them. And it is in a lot of other newsagents too. You can find your nearest stockist by postcode. Simply click thru to the storefinder at http://www.mymags.net/mym-in-print/Warning! If your newsagent, WHSmith or not, should have stocked the magazine according to the store-finder, but say they have not got it, then this can be resolved as follows: 1. ask for their box-number 2. post the box-number on here [the facebook page] or email it to [email protected] They will then be contacted by the distributor to ensure they are aware of their allocation of MyM.
