Nazo no Kanojo X TV Anime's Ad Streamed

The official website for the television anime adaption of Riichi Ueshiba's Nazo no Kanojo X (Mysterious Girlfriend X) manga began streaming a 30-second television commercial on Friday. The website also announced that Ayako Yoshitani, the voice actress who will play the title character Mikoto Urabe, will perform the series' opening theme song "Love Orchestra" and the ending theme "After-School Promise."
The main cast also includes Miyu Irino as the hapless Akira Tsubaki, Yūki Kaji as Kōhei Ueno, Ryō Hirohashi as Ayuko Oka, and Misato Fukuen as Yōko Tsubaki. Ayumu Watanabe (Doraemon: Nobita no Kyoryu [2006], Doraemon: Nobita to Midori no Kyojin Den) is direecting the manga at the anime studio Hoods Entertainment. Deko Akao (Arakawa Under the Bridge, Asura Cryin') is supervising the series scripts, and Kenichi Konishi (Bokurano, Tokyo Godfathers) is designing the characters.
Shizue Kaneko (Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Uchū Kaitakushi, Doraemon: Nobita to Midori no Kyojin Den) is serving as chief animation director with Emmy-nominated art director Shigemi Ikeda (Afro Samurai: Resurrection, Bokurano, several Gundam projects). Masafumi Mima (Macross Frontier, Paprika) is directing the sound.
The anime will premiere in Japan on April 7.
