Manga and Cosplay Events in Gateshead, March

The Gateshead Central Library in Prince Consort Road, Gateshead will be hosting two cosplay and manga-related events at the beginning of March.
On Friday March 2, it will host a "Nintendisco," described as "a night of retro gaming madness on big screens with clubbing and cosplay." The event will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. It is open to 16s-and-over, and tichets are £5. The facebook page is here. Tickets can be bought online here, at Gateshead Central Library reception, or at the Cybergamezone in Newcastle City Centre.
On Friday March 9, it will host "Manga Recon 1.5," a two-hour event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will include a manga art and cosplay competition, quizzes, gaming and Japanese snacks. The facebook page is here. Tickets are £2, available from Gateshead Central Library reception.
There will also be a two-day "Anime Attacks" event at the library on July 13 and 14, facebook page here.
