Doraemon Helmer Ayumi Watanabe Confirmed for Uchū Kyōdai

The official Twitter account for the television anime adaptation of Chūya Koyama's Uchū Kyōdai (Space Bros.) manga confirmed on Wednesday that the series' director will be Ayumu Watanabe, director and animation director for various Doraemon anime films. The manga's story follows two brothers who made a childhood vow to travel to space, and the anime will begin airing in April.
Watanabe will also direct the television anime adaptation of Nazo no Kanojo X (Mysterious Girlfriend X) romantic comedy manga for a premiere in April.
