Viz's SuBLime Boys-Love Imprint Adds Yebisu Celebrities
posted on by Egan Loo
SuBLime, the new boys-love imprint of the North American manga publisher Viz Media, announced on Thursday that it licensed the first three volumes of Kaoru Iwamoto and Shinri Fuwa's Yebisu Celebrities manga as digital releases. The first volume will be released digitally in March, followed by the next two in June and September.
The story follows Haruka Fujinami at his new job at the Tokyo design firm Yebisu Graphics, where he faces a tyrannical boss named Mr. Daijō. Haruka must decide whether to submit to Mr. Daijō's verbal and mental abuse, or stand up for himself.
The manga launched in Japan in 2006, and the sixth volume shipped in 2008. The series was once licensed by the defunct publisher Central Park Media's BeBeautiful imprint.
