TV Anime Another's Voice Cast Revealed

The official website for the anime adaptation of Yuki Ayatsuji's Another horror novel revealed the upcoming series' main cast on Wednesday.

Ayatsuji's 2009 novel centers around a school class that has a curse, and the string of unavoidable deaths that befall the boys and girls in that class. Another will debut in January 2012 with character designs by Noizi Ito (Haruhi Suzumiya, Shakugan no Shana. Tsutomu Mizushima (Blood-C, xxxHOLiC) will direct the anime at the studio P.A. Works. Ryō Higaki (Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit) is in charge of the scripts, and Yuriko Ishii (Persona -trinity soul-) is adapting Ito's designs for animation. ALI PROJECT and Annabel will perform Another's opening and ending theme songs.
Hiro Kiyohara launched a manga adaption of Ayatsuji's novel in April 2010, and the manga series' "0th" limited-edition volume will ship next May with "episode 0" of the anime version.
