Yuruani/Eagle Talon's studio produces story about a kind rice monster
The Japanese production company DLE (Eagle Talon, Yuruani?) announced on Tuesday that its new original Flash-animated series, Chara Uta (Character Song), will begin airing on May 22. The first story arc in the new series is titled Gohan Kaijū Pap (Rice Monster Pap) — "Pap" being the Korean word for "rice." Other characters representing curry, a pickled plum, nattō (fermented soybeans) and an egg appear in the series. The second story arc is titled Eco Chara.
Chara Uta will be broadcast simultaneously on three different television stations. Junichi Endō is producing the anime.
