Part 2 of Durarara!! continues the non-linear action-mystery adapted from the light novel series by Ryohgo Narita (Baccano!), where the lives of adolescent students, dangerous gangs and supernatural entities collide in Ikebukuro. ANN.AU has a review of Part 1 of this release, and is hosting an interview Siren conducted with the director of the series, Takehiro Omori, who also directed the anime adaptation of Baccano!
The Tatami Galaxy is a dark comedy focusing on a nameless university student looking back on his earlier misadventures in his university's circles (clubs), under the influence of a mischevious friend and a female student he has a crush on. Based on an original novel by Tomihiko Morimi, The Tatami Galaxy is a Madhouse production directed by Masaaki Yuasa (Mindgame, Kaiba) and is the first television series to win the Animation Division's Grand Prize in the Japan Media Arts Festival Awards. This is Siren's latest release originating from Fuji TV's non-mainstream Noitamina timeslot and the DVD extras include seven bonus mini-episodes, TV spots and a behind-the-scenes featurette.
