Voice Actor Robert O. Smith Passes Away

Smith played Genma in Ranma 1/2, Kaijinbo in Inuyasha
Voice actor Robert O. Smith passed away last week after a battle with pancreatic and liver cancer. He was 67. Smith had performed the English dubbing role of father/panda Genma in the anime series Ranma 1/2, as well as Kaijinbo in Inuyasha, D in the Project A-Ko OAVs, and other roles.
Seattle-based Smith was an animation enthusiast, creating and voice acting his own comedic short animations under the name Thorndike Pickledish. He also was a wrestling and power-lifting enthusiast, and occasionally a DJ.
